“A Glass Full” is a perspective, an unequivocal way to dream with a vision.  The Largest Democracy in the world is poised to celebrate its lustrum festival in 2014 which will be popularly called as IndiaElection2014. Born and raised in the largest democracy & living in the strongest democracy, I will put forward my observations and opinion through this medium. The contenders for the apex seat have been informally nominated. The heat is on, let the debate begin.

Why such an effort? Every single vote counts. If any of the thoughts expressed here motivates even a single one vote for change, it’s worth the effort.

What do you gain? Not everything you do is for personal gain. People stop on road to offer direction to a lost tourist, run a mile to support a cause or chip in dollars to support malnourished kids half way across the globe. To support elect an effective government in a largest democracy in the world is a worthy enough cause.

Why Now? Words on this blog reflect sentiments echoed in many discussions & thoughts. There’s resentment in minds to express the same in public fearing that such an honest admission will instantly earn a title of being communal (which by the way is a systematic propaganda).

Anyways let’s take this example.  Obama’s supporters include liberals, LGBT, Union workers, groups with socialist ideology and a whole lot who just can’t stand republicans. So supporting Obama does not necessarily make you LGBT or a socialist.

Similarly When I support Modi for his Development and Administrative achievements, his passion to preserve & take pride on cultural values and his vision to expand vibrant Gujarat into vibrant India, I not necessarily even endorse the ideas that his other followers may harbor.

This is the best chance our biggest democracy has offered to elect a visionary, caring and a truly secular leader; a change that will drive nation in a positive direction. Opportunity is knocking, let’s redeem it. If not now it will be never.
